obesity-and-health
According to hepatolosis from hospitals in London King's College, one of the leading clinic for liver transplantation, alcohol is no longer a major cause of liver disease but the more likely cause are excess kilos.
British scientists mention statistics that say that with the increasing number of obese people in Europe will increase the number of obese people in European countries and in North America.
"According to our findings, in twenty and thirty years obesity could be a major cause of liver cirrhosis, and this will represent a major problem for King's College due to the increased number of transplants," said Dr Varuna Aluvihare, adding that his patients are surprised when they are said that the cause of their
liver disease is obesity. One of these patients is David Alderton, who never drank and his liver is permanently destroyed because he has 152 kilograms on his height of 185 cm. "Until retirement I was a professional driver. I often spent seven days a week on the road, feeding irregularly and not satisfactory. I have been 'dragging' my bad habit, until it was too late, "said Davila, a candidate for liver transplantation.
